Hi ! My name is Marie-Pier Gingras. I completed my Ph. D. in 2024 and I'm a speech-language pathologist.

My PhD focused on how adults-children interactions are influenced by the contexts in which they occur. More precisely, I studied conversations between early childhood educators and preschoolers. In my work, I use qualitative and quantitative research methodology.

In addition to my doctorate, my research interests include the effectiveness of speech-language pathology interventions, the clinical practice of speech-language pathologists with children and their families, and the competency development of speech-language pathology students.
